County schools switching back to tougher grading scale

Changing to the 10-point grading scale was supposed to help Yazoo County students, but it might have done more harm than good.
The Yazoo County School Board voted this week to use a slightly stricter grading scale next school year after a review of the 10-point scale seemed to indicate that it was hurting scores on exit exams required to graduate.
