JacksonJacksonBy JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

A police officer was assaulted after responding to a family feud that turned violent this week.
Brandon Jackson, 18, was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer.
Chief Eric Snow said officer Dean Johnson received medical attention after Jackson attacked him during his arrest Tuesday afternoon.
“We got a call that females were fighting on East Fourth Street,” Snow said. “It was basically a feud between two families.”
Snow said officers Johnson and Dontae Clark responded to the incident.
