Miss Williams to wed Vandevere

Miss Shelby Williams and William VandevereMiss Shelby Williams and William VandevereMr. and Mrs. Dan Bradshaw of Yazoo City and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Williams of Canton announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Shelby Morgan Williams, to William Hunter Vandevere, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Vandevere.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Jan Williams and the late Richard Williams of Brookhaven, Mr. and Mrs. David Sims of Gulfport and Ms. Toni Sims of Mobile.
A graduate of Manchester Academy, she is currently attending Mississippi College, studying business administration. She is currently employed at the Bank of Yazoo.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Vandevere and the late Mr. and Mrs. James C. Peeples.
He is a graduate of Manchester Academy and Holmes Community College. He is currently employed at Yazoo Valley Electric Power Association.
The couple will be married on June 2, 2012 at 6 p.m. in Parkview Church of God. Rev. Ken Lynch, pastor of Parkview, will officiate the double ring ceremony.
A reception will follow at the Country Club of Yazoo City.
