Over 180 job offers were made Tuesday as job seekers packed the National Guard Armory for the Yazoo County Job Fair.
Employers present estimated that they may hire over 100 of those who filled out applications Tuesday over the course of the next year.
This year’s event also featured Hiring Our Heroes, an effort by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to  help veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment.  An estimated 1/3 of the applicants Tuesday were veterans.
