Sunny Lane resident says trucks illegally using road

By JASON PATTERSON
Editor & Publisher

Sunny Lane Road is a smooth ride these days, but those who had the misfortune of having to travel the road not so long ago remember when it looked like something out of a third world country.
In those days Sunny Lane was littered with so many potholes that drivers often had to try to guess which ones would do the least damage as they held on for the bumpy ride.
County resident Verbon Ryals would like to keep the road the way it is, but he fears the heavy gravel trucks that are constantly illegally using the road as a shortcut will soon destroy it again.
