Public Hearing for CIPA
The Yazoo County School District will hold a public hearing to discuss the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) for the District. The hearing will be held to regular Board Meeting on June 5, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Chancery Clerk Building in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room located at 211 E. Broadway, Yazoo City, MS 39194.

SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
The City of Yazoo City, Mississippi, a municipal corporation is considering declaring the following described property located in Valley Subdivision, surplus and no longer needed for municipal purposes:
Lot 27 of Valley Subdivision of Blocks A to H Inclusive of Booker T. Washington Subdivision of Lot 689, North of Levee, of Yazoo City, Mississippi.
The City will accept sealed competitive bids for the purchase of said property in the Office of the City Clerk located in City Hall, 128 E. Jefferson Street, Yazoo City, Mississippi, 39194 until noon, Thursday, May 24, 2012.  A minimum bid of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) is required.  
The successful bidder will be required to provide their own title search and assure clear title to their satisfaction. The City will provide a quitclaim deed retaining all easements. The City will also retain all mineral rights that it owns, together with the right of ingress and egress to remove same.

WHEREAS, on April 13, 2006 JACQUELINE LITTLE, executed a certain deed of trust to GRIFFIN NORQUIST, Trustee for BANK OF YAZOO CITY, which deed of trust is recorded in Book 336B at Page 342 in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Yazoo County, Mississippi.
WHEREAS said BANK OF YAZOO CITY, holder of said deeds of trust and the indebtedness secured thereby, substituted Wiley J. Barbour, Jr. as trustee therein by instrument dated April 24, 2012 and recorded in Book 402B at Page 644 of said records, said substitution authorized by the terms of said deeds of trust; and
