Two more qualify for District 4 Supervisor

By JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

Three candidates have qualified for the District 4 supervisor seat.
Dale Lakes, Paul Parker Jr. and David Shipp are vying for the county seat that Ed Dew held for two decades. Dew died on Feb. 5 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Dew’s widow, Jayne, has held his position after being appointed by the remaining board members.
All three candidates are running as Democrats.
Circuit Clerk Robert Coleman said the qualifying deadline for the county seat is Sept. 7 by 5 p.m.
