Search team locates lost elderly woman

By JASON PATTERSON
Editor & Publisher

Thanks to an observant fellow church member and a quick search team response, an 86-year-old Yazoo City woman was found safely Monday afternoon.
Nelson Tate notified the Yazoo City Police Department Tuesday that he hadn’t seen the woman since early that morning, noting that it wasn’t like her to leave home alone.
Police Chief Eric Snow says that phone call probably saved her life.
