Mavs shocked at home

Manchester and Kirk Academy played three games, totaling 21 innings and 29 hits. But none of that mattered. In the end, it came down to just one last inning of play.
With the score tied at 3-3 headed into the seventh and final inning of the best-of-three series, both the Mavs and Kirk had just three outs left in their season.
Kirk Academy, who had to fight through the final week of play for a playoff spot, set the bar high for the Mavericks to match with four runs in the top of the seventh. Apparently, the bar was set too high for the Mavericks as they managed just two runs in the bottom half of the inning to have their season come to a surprising end.
