Using Acts 3:1-10 as the Scripture reference, the Rev. Caleb Clark, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church said there are needs in our community. As Christians, we must respond.
“There are people ... that have needs, and the way we respond is our privilege and our opportunity,” Clark said.
“One of the great privileges that the Yazoo City church at large has is to minister to the needs of people.”
Clark delivered the Easter message at Sunday’s Community Easter Worship Service, which was hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church.
Clark said Christians’ voice of praise to God is often “stillborn.”
“(The lame man in the Scripture passage) was filled so that other’s may see the power of the cross of Christ in his life,” Clark said.
