Miss Catherine Brent and Edward Johnson Jr. Ms. Catherine Emmanette Brent and Edward Charles Johnson Jr. announce their marriage on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Mt Vernon M.B. Church in Yazoo City.
A reception will follow at the L.T. Miller Community Center in Yazoo City.

Ms. Brent is the daughter of the late Alma Jean Collins Brent and Mr. Aubry Noel Brent Jr. Her maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Collins. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Aubry Noel Brent Sr.
Ms. Brent is a graduate of Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University with a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. She is employed as an Elderly Coordinator at Warren-Yazoo Mental Health Services.
Edward is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Charles Johnson Sr. His maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gaddis Haymer Sr. His paternal grandparents are Mr. Clifton Ward and Mrs. Elsie Gardner. He is employed at W. S. Hancock in Bentonia.
