JAMES DEMENT
James Edward Dement, 60, of Vicksburg died Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
Funeral services were March 24 at New Beginning Church in Vicksburg.
Mr. Dement was born Jan. 11, 1952. He was a veteran.
Survivors include his fiancee, Susan McCarter of Benton; a daughter, Tina Jensen (Tony) of Afton, Iowa; three sisters, Margie Dorrell (Ricky) of Yazoo City, Audrey James (Rusty) of Vicksburg and Emma Tennant (Bill) of Vicksburg; a brother, Howard Dement of Vicksburg; three grandchildren, Shane, Jenna and Katie Jenson, all of Afton, Iowa; and a host of other relatives and friends.

DAVID KIGHT
David Ronald Kight, 55, of Clinton died Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
Funeral services were Saturday at the Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Lakewood Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his father Robie Kight, Sr.; mother, Isla Lindsey; and two grandchildren, Britney Butler and Branden Butler.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Kight; son, David Lee Kight; daughter, Ginger K. Butler (David); brothers, Robie Kight (Tricia), Robert Kight (Leslie) and Dale Kight; and grandchildren, Ryan Butler and Emilee Butler.
Memorials may be made to the Blair E. Baston Hospital for Children.

BARBARA ANN McCALL

A celebration memorial for Barbara Ann Givens McCall will be held Saturday, April 14, at Stricklin-King funeral home in Yazoo City at 1:30 p.m.

Joseph Patrick "Pat" McGraw, 77, died peacefully in his sleep at home April 5, 2012 following a short hospital stay.
Funeral services were Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mr. McGraw was born Oct. 31, 1934 in Yazoo City to Tom McGraw and Loretta Hamel McGraw. He was a career professional independent insurance agent, an involved and loving parent, the retired Past President of Yazoo Insurance Agency, and a lifelong resident of Yazoo City .
He was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Loretta McGraw, his much loved and greatly missed wife of 53 years Mary Helen Corley McGraw, and two brothers, Pete and Tom McGraw Jr.
Survivors include his children, Helen Waldrup of Yazoo City, Patrick McGraw of Yazoo City, Bill McGraw (Lori) of Yazoo City, Ann McGraw of Brandon) and Mike McGraw (Laura) of Flowood; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to  St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the loving care extended to Pat McGraw from his customers, his caregivers, his friends and his industry partners over the years. He loved his work, and he loved and appreciated the people he worked with. He loved his community, he loved life, and he loved people. Most of all, he loved his family and friends - many of those he kept close to him for life.

JOSEPH SCHAUB
Joseph Henry Schaub, 74, of Madison, died April 8, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services are today at 10:30 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service.
A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Schaub was born Oct. 24, 1937, in Moss Point to the late William H. Schaub and the late Damie Lou Dampeer Schaub. He attended Moss Point High School and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He married and raised four children with the former Nancy Mecklin of Louise. In 1999, he retired from many years of service with Deposit Guaranty National Bank in Yazoo City and later moved to Madison.
He was a member First United Methodist Church in Yazoo City and Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson, he also held the office of president of both the Yazoo City Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce.  In his retirement he contributed much of his time volunteering with the Gleaners, a local charity that helps feed the homeless, and to other charity work at Methodist Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy, daughters Cathy Schaub Schultz (Randy), Kelly Schaub Hossley (Mike), Kim Schaub Moorehead (Jack), and son Joseph Henry Schaub Jr. (Melissa), as well as six grandchildren: Jordan and Alex Schultz, Mackenzie and Josie Moorehead, Adam and Will Hossley, and by his brother, William Schaub (Rose).  
Serving as pallbearers are Alex Schultz, Mackenzie Moorehead, Adam Hossley, Will Hossley, Stephen Schaub, Frank Webb and John Smith.
Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital or Christ United Methodist Church.

THELMA SEVERIN
Thelma Lue Severin, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services were Saturday at Peter Rock Church of God in Christ with Rev. Bruce Pinkston officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Century Funeral Home.
Mrs. Severin was born April 16, 1966 in Coffeeville to the late Charlie and Mae Thelma Phillips. She was a member of New Foundation Baptist Church in Holly Bluff. In 1998 she moved to West Palm Beach, Fla. where she met her husband, Cecil Severin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mae Thelma Phillips; and her paternal grandmother, Lillie B. Phillips.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Severin of West Palm Beach, Fla.; grandmother, Fanni Mae Amons; three sisters, Charlene Cole (Melvin), Darlene Pinkston (Bruce) and Sylvia Green (Nakia); brother, Charlie Spearman (Jackie); and a host of other relatives and friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Melvin Cole, Nakia Green, Marquis Pinkston, Bruce Pinkston, Allen Pinkston and Charlie Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers were Odell Thompson, Dwight Pinkston, Herbert Tate, Gary Jackson, W.C. Bush and Andrew Dent.
