A group of Yazoo County law enforcement officers were shocked to find out what kind of training was in store for them last week – literally.
Several Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department officers were certified to carry Tasers, a process that requires them actually experiencing what it’s like to have the device used on them.
With fellow officers holding them steady and emergency medical responders standing by, each officer was zapped with a Taser. Officers grimaced in pain and became immobile as the voltage was applied.
