City ponders crackdown on sagging pants

By JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

Alderman Aubry Brent Jr. said he would like to see some policy implemented to curtail sagging pants within the city.
After hearing numerous complaints about the city public schools, Brent said he feels the dress code issue is directly related to the lack of respect among some children and many adults.
Brent said he understands it might infringe on an individual’s right to express themselves through their clothing. But he said there must be a way to successfully word a policy.
