Parent jailed for fighting at school

A parent involved in the fight among students at Yazoo City High School was found guilty this week by a judge.
Judge John Donaldson sentenced Bessie Young to 30 days in jail and a $1,500 fine after finding her guilty of several charges Wednesday.
Young was charged with simple assault, trespassing, disturbing the peace with profanity and disturbing the peace by fighting.
