Corey Brown and Chinetha Powell of Yazoo City are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Mariyah Ashanti Brown, on February 27, 2012 at Madison River Oaks Medical Center in Madison.
Mariyah weighed six pounds.
Maternal grandparents are Dorothy Jenkins and Matthew Powell, both of Yazoo City.
Paternal grandparent is Clementine Brown of Yazoo City.
Also welcoming the new arrival is big brother Vaishaun Varmelo Powell.
