By JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

With recent communication talks, one alderman stresses the importance of both city and county officials working together.
Ward 4 Alderman Aubry Brent said he would like to see both Yazoo City and Yazoo County on the same page with its dispatch center. Over the past several weeks, communications has been a hot topic among city board members.
With quotes from businesses coming in for the city’s radio communication system for the street department, the city handling its own dispatch communications has been touched on through various discussions.
