Trotter to wed Collins on April 21

Carolyn Trotter and Edward CollinsCarolyn Trotter and Edward CollinsSpelma Trotter of Yazoo City announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Carolyn Trotter, to Edward “Buck” Collins, son of the late Henrine Collins and the late Stafford Collins Jr. of Yazoo City.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of the late Minnie Bell Crockett of Yazoo City.
She is a 1986 graduate of Yazoo City High School.
She is also the secretary and church announcer at Mt. Mariah Church.
She is currently employed at the Yazoo City Municipal School District as an administrative assistant.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Willie B. Woods of Yazoo City.
He is a 1976 graduate of Yazoo City High School.
He is currently employed at the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
The couple will be married on April 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the L.T. Miller Community Center.
Rev. Benard Luckett, pastor of Mt. Moriah Church, will officiate the double ring ceremony.
A reception will follow at the L.T. Miller Community Center.
