Confusion and chaos unfolded at Yazoo City High School this week with a melee that included both students and parents.
Capt. Tilmon Clifton said officers were shocked to respond to a call about a fight at the local high school Monday to discover that three parents were also involved with the altercation.
“Three adults jumped in on a fight at the high school,” Clifton said.
Clifton said the incident began when school staff addressed a group of students who were fighting.
