Jakese and Lucius Martin of Yazoo City are proud to announce the birth of their son, Lathan Edward Martin, on February 28, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
He weighed seven pounds, four ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Linda Hawkins and Jacob Sheriff.
Paternal grandparents are Linda and Lucius Martin.
Also welcoming the new arrival are brother, Lucius David Martin, step-grandparents Robert Hawkins and Mary Sheriff and godparents Erica and Ken Coger.
