THERESA WARD
Theresa J. Ward, 56, died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at home.
Funeral services were Friday at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Ward was born Oct. 7, 1953 in Yazoo County to T.J. Leverett and Carolyn Blackwell Leverett. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Ward of Bentonia; three sons, Tim Ables of Canton, Matt Ables of Yazoo City and Jon Ables of Yazoo City; mother, Carolyn Leverett of Holly Bluff; two brothers, Terry Leverett of Satartia and Todd Leverett of Holly Bluff; sister, Virginia Hearn of Bentonia; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers were Tim Ables, Todd Leverett and Matt Ables.

MARY ANDERSON
Mary Elizabeth Anderson, 77, died Friday, June 11, 2010.
Funeral services were Wednesday at the Shaffer & Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Garden Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was born Feb. 6, 1933 in Flora to the late Fred and Willie Bell Holliday. She was a member of Wilson Grove M.B. Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson; son, Jonathan; and a granddaughter, Daphne Berry Kitchens Ross.
Survivors include six children, Annie Marshall (O’neal) of Mansfield, Ohio, Delia Mae Rankin (Willie) of Jackson, Robert Anderson of Flint, Mich., Rosie Harris (Donald) of Vicksburg, Clifton Anderson (Gloria) of Flora and Cynthia Davenport (Bill) of Jackson; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
