LINDA AULTMAN
Linda Braxton Aultman, 68, of Bentonia, died Feb. 19, 2012  at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services were Tuesday at the Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Vicksburg with Rev. Skipper Maxwell officiating. Burial followed at the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford L. and Gladys Cooper Braxton and her brother, Glenis W. Braxton.
Survivors include her daughter, Beth Ballard of Baton Rouge, La.; son, Ben Ballard of Cape Coral, Fla.; sister, Beverly Taylor of Bentonia; brother, Darryl Braxton of Sulphur Springs, Texas; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers were Richard Taylor Sr., Chris Landry, Lisa Mason and David Wansley.
Pallbearers were Richard Charles Taylor, Preston Braxton, Tyler Braxton, Tracy Braxton, Cooper Taylor and Zach Ballard.

BOBBY FOSTER
Bobby Hugh Foster, 77, of Yazoo County, died on Feb. 21, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Foster was born on May 11, 1934 in Yazoo County to George Edward and Norna Anthony Foster. He was a life-long member of Hebron Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Darlene Douglass Cason Foster; brother, George Weldon Foster; sisters, Margaret Ferguson and Sallie Hancock.
Survivors include his children, Steve Cason, Sheila Warrington, Eddie Foster and Bobbie D. Foster; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Dongieux Foster, Calvin Foster and Hilary Foster; sisters, Elane Goode, Sharon Ertle and Becky Rainer; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers were Shannon Davis, Clint Ertle, Leronde Goode, Cameron OʼDaniel, Daniel Hedrick and Henry Walters.

JOHN HARDY
John Earl Hardy, 75, of Yazoo City, died Feb. 8, 2012 at the Swan Pointe Care Center in Maumee, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at Third Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio with Rev. Kevin Bedford officiating.
Mr. Hardy was born on Dec. 5, 1936 in Yazoo City to Harry and Annie Hardy. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Ruth and Dallas Johnson.
He grew up in Yazoo City and married Ida Mae Young before entering the U.S. Air Force. They had five children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; uncle and aunt; brothers, Charles and George Hardy; and daughter, Bernadine Hardy.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ida Mae; sons, Michael of Toledo and Dallas Hardy of Yazoo City; daughters, Harriet Hardy of Toledo and Kimberly Tate of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Leroy Hardy of Toledo; sister, Annie Ruth Stiff of Yazoo City; and a host of family and friends.

SUSIE PARKER
Susie Parker, 84, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 in Owasso, Okla.
Funeral services were Friday at the Strickling King Funeral Home Chapel. She was buried beside her husband of 47 years, Donnie Parker, at Glenwood Cemetery.  
Mrs. Parker, was born in Northport, Ala. On Sept. 29, 1926 to Daniel and Martha Jane Grammer Kizziah. She received her education in Northport.  On Dec. 18, 1948 Susie and Donnie Parker married.
Their family included six children.
Although Susie had a lengthy work career that began as a waitress and ended with the job she enjoyed most, as a daycare employee where she positively impacted the lives of the children she cared for, her first priority was her own family and their welfare.  
She was determined to instill in them the spiritual strength she received from daily Bible study and was instrumental in planting God’s word in their hearts.  Trips home to Northport to attend Homecomings at Yellow Creek Baptist Church were highlights for Susie; she attended as often as she could.
Beloved Grammy to her daughters-in-law and sons-in-law and grandchildren, Susie had a great sense of humor and the ability to live for today and not dwell on tomorrow’s worries.  
Selflessly displaying a servant’s heart, her concern for others was always apparent; for example, she frequently questioned her caregivers in an attempt to be a less troublesome patient.
Loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Susie is survived by her children, Martha Parker Jones and her husband, Doyle, of Yazoo City, MS, Melissa Parker Hunt of Owasso, OK, Cynthia Parker Maples, also of  Owasso, Donna Parker Dennis and her husband, Stephen, of Baton Rouge, LA, Donnie Parker, Jr. and wife, Mandy, of Owasso, and Timothy Parker and wife, Sheila, of Talala, OK; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her brother, Hardin Kizziah of Northport, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and ten siblings.

DR. OSCAR PAULSON Jr.
Dr. Oscar L. Paulson, Jr., 81, of Vancleave died on Friday, February 17, 2012.
Funeral services were Friday at Biloxi National Cemetery. Services were conducted under the direction of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home of Biloxi.

WILHELMENIA REEVES
Wilhelmenia Reeves, 72, of Yazoo City, died on Feb. 16, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Dennis officiating. Burial followed at Cypress Garden Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Century Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reeves was born on July 7, 1939 in Humphreys County to Claude Gates and Elizabeth Thomas. She grew up in Yazoo City at the home of uncle Napoleon Page and aunt Modiest Page.
She married Jessie Reeves Sr. on April 25, 1955. She was a member of St. Peter M.B. Church and was involved with several committees and clubs within the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie; Claude Gate; Elizabeth Cross; Charlie Cross; Uncle Pete; three brothers; three sisters; and son, Jessie Jr.
Survivors include Aunt Mug; three sons, Tony, Carlton and Calvin; three daughters, Carolyn, Catrina and Christy; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five brothers, Archie Cross, Herbert Cross, Edwin Cross, Mitchell Cross and Maurice Cross; nine sisters, Bernice Chinn, Shirley Lucas, Arnetha Johnson, Joyce Nicholson, Joann Stevenson, Valerie Cross, Kathleen Cross, Debra Gates and Constance Gates Love; and a host of family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers were the Class of 1957, deacons of St. Peter M.B. Church, sons, grandsons and brothers.
Pallbearers were Rola Donelson, Randall Grant, Leonard Jones, Melvin Jones, Michael Latiker and Don McCoy.
