DAR holds membership tea

The Yazoo Chapter NSDAR Officers for the 2010-2012 term were sworn into office by Golria Adcock at the May 20, 2010 Chapter meeting. The Yazoo Chapter NSDAR held a Membership Tea on May 20, 2010 at 2p.m. in the Mississippi Chemical Library Annex.  
Beja Everett, a new member of Yazoo Chapter and prospective member, Karen Bratcher, were present along with the Yazoo Chapter members.  JoAnne Collins presented the Boy Scouts of America Commemorative Centennial Silver coin to Bee Estes, Scout Master of Troop 75.  
Priscilla Harper gave the Memorial program in memory of Rose Thornberry Quinn, who died April 29, 2010.  She was a member of Yazoo Chapter for 25 years.  
The Yazoo Chapter NSDAR Officers for the 2010-2012 term were sworn into office by Gloria Adcock: JoAnne Collins, Regent; Priscilla Harper, Vice Regent; Ava Hale, Treasurer; Gladys Ward, Recording Secretary; Sarastelle Sigrest, Chaplin; Delaine Stoner, Librarin; Vay McGraw, Historian; Wendy Carwright, Registrar; and Marsha Williams, Parlimentarian.

The hostesses for the Yazoo Chapter NSDAR May 20, 2010, Chapter meeting were left to right: Delaine Stoner, Pro Metts, and not pictured Rose Anderson. The cake featured the DAR logo.
