The Yazoo City Housing Authority is now accepting bids for grounds keeping and grass cutting located within the city limits of Yazoo City, Mississippi.
Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. local standard time at the central office of the Yazoo City Housing Authority, 121 Lindsey Lawn Drive, Yazoo City, Mississippi 39194, on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regularly scheduled board meeting at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
Bids may be mailed to: Attention Executive Director, Yazoo City Housing Authority, P.O. 128, Yazoo City, Mississippi 39194
All bid envelopes must be marked on the exterior of the envelope, “GROUNDS KEEPING AND GRASS CUTTING SERVICES BID TO BE OPENED, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.”
On Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., a pre-bid conference will be held at the Yazoo City Housing Authority Office, 121 Lindsey Lawn Drive, Yazoo City, Mississippi. At this time and place all bidders will have an opportunity to tour the sites and grounds to be maintained.

A performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract will be required.

Anderson, Melissa Moore, Robbie Haymer Coleman, Pamela Rashell Williams, Tasha Anderson, Carolyn Anderson, Betty Haymer Green, Pearlie Mae Haymer Jones, Flora haymer Shaffer, John L. Anderson III, Anthony Tyree Moore, Deon Moore, Sharon J. Moore and Grank Moore established as the sole heirs-at-law and wrongful death beneficiaries of Louise Young, deceased, Cora Lee Haymer Anderson, deceased, Robert and Carrie Berry, deceased.
