Connie Speight Walker, of Bentonia, graduated with honors on Dec. 16, 2011 from Mississippi College.  
Walker, who is currently employed as a teacher with the Yazoo County School District, received a Master's of Education degree in School Counseling with a 4.0 grade point average throughout the program.  
Walker is the daughter of Nora and Kelly Speight and the granddaughter of the late Sybil and Andrew Dawson of Bentonia.
