Repeat offender back behind bars

SibleySibleyBy JASON PATTERSON
Editor & Publisher

A 20-year-old Yazoo City man with a lenghty criminal history is facing two counts of burglary and is a suspect in another case.
Dontay Sibley, of 925 Grady Ave., was arrested Tuesday after an eyewitness identified him as the person who kicked in a door at Oak Haven Apartments and stole some items from inside.
Sheriff Jake Sheriff said while officers were working that case, a burglary was reported at Longwood Cove. Sibley was also identified as the suspect in this case by an eyewitness.
Sibley is also suspected in another break-in that happened at Oak Haven Apartments on Tuesday. Sheriff said that, like the other two cases, the door was kicked in at this apartment.
