Many bid Norquist farewell

Former Yazoo Mayor Wardell Leach (right) was among over  200 who came out to wish Griffin Norquist Jr. well in his retirement Thursday at the Bank of Yazoo City. Norquist, who served as the bank’s CEO, is retiring after nearly 40 years of service to BYC.
