Many bid Norquist farewell

Former Yazoo Mayor Wardell Leach (right) was among over 200 who came out to wish Griffin Norquist Jr. well in his retirement Thursday at the Bank of Yazoo City. Norquist, who served as the bank’s CEO, is retiring after nearly 40 years of service to BYC. During his tenure at the bank Norquist has been involved in countless civic roles and built a reputation for serving the community.Former Yazoo Mayor Wardell Leach (right) was among over 200 who came out to wish Griffin Norquist Jr. well in his retirement Thursday at the Bank of Yazoo City.
