IRENE HOGUE
Irene S. Hogue, 97, died Jan. 20, 2012.
Funeral services were Monday at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Will Wilkerson officiating. Burial followed at Midway Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hogue was born Aug. 14, 1914 in Yazoo County to Walter Preston Smith and Ida Mae Ziegler Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Midway United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Hogue.
Survivors include two sons, Walter L. Hogue of Benton and Bill Cagle of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Shirley Crawford of Pearl River, La. and Carla Norsworthy of Pensacola, Fla.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Bob Dunwoody, Rusty Odum, Warren King Jr., Jody Ziegler, Steve Swayze, Pete Pingrey and John Hogue.

James Edwin “Choochie” Wallace died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson.
Family hour will be Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Century Funeral Home.
Funeral services are Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen United Methodist Church.
A complete obituary will be published following the funeral.
