The Hinds Community College Deans' scholars have been named for the 2011 fall semester.
Deans' List scholars are those students with a cumulative 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average.
Local students included in the fall 2011 Dean's scholars are Cindy Chisolm-Landers of Benton; DeAnna Coody,  Natalie Edwards, and Alma Harrington, all of Bentonia; Anthony Oliver of Pickens; Linda Bassett of Vaughan; Shauna Anderson, Lawrence Blaylock, Frances Book, Chancia Brown, Asia Gainwell, Lawanda Graham, Tyneesha Jefferson, Christopher Leese, Ellen Porter, Wendy Saxton, Mitrease Wright and Kaley Carpenter, all of Yazoo City.
