Miss Goodman to wed Horton on Feb. 18

Miss GoodmanMiss GoodmanMr. and Mrs. Kenneth Emile Goodman Sr., of Yazoo City announce the engagement of their daughter, Kate Breanna Goodman, to David Scott Horton II, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Scott Horton of Scott.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Gray Goodman Sr., of Bentonia and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings Stricklin of Yazoo City.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carroll Horton and the late Mary Jean Horton of Lake Village, Ark., and Mr. Sidney Arnold Smith and the late Bobbie Frasier Smith of Scott.
Miss Goodman is a graduate of Manchester Academy. She graduated from the University of Mississippi  with a degree in managerial finance. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She is associated with Julep Restaurant and Bar and Mint the Restaurant, where she is the business manager.
Mr. Horton is a graduate of Washington School. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in agronomy. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is associated with Monsanto Company where he works as an agronomic research manager.
The couple will exchange vows on February 18 at the United Methodist Church in Yazoo City.
