DAR holds annual Christmas luncheon

The Yazoo Chapter National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution held its annual Christmas luncheon on Dec. 15 at No Mistake Plantation.
Following a delicious luncheon, Helen Polk, a member of HicAShaBaHa Chapter in Starkville, presented the program. She is a NSDAR Docent in training and MSSDAR State American History Chairman.
Polk’s program was a power point presentation on the NSDAR Gallery and Period Rooms housed in the Memorial Continental Hall in Washington D.C. This hall is the National Headquarters for the DAR.
Chapter members were delighted to welcome guests Maxine Hamilton and Helen Polk of the HicAShaBaHa Chapter; Pat Anderson, Dora Lee Clark, Sara Henderson and Clayton Nagle.
Hostesses were Priscilla Harper and JoAnne Collins.
