Police push for safer Yazoo in 2012

With 2011 now in the past, the Yazoo City Police Department is gearing up to make 2012 a safer year for the citizens of Yazoo City.  
The crime in 2011 varied from small property damage crimes to major offenses such as murder.
Chief Eric Snow said there was a slight decrease in the number of reported burglaries and property damages. However, there was an increase in the crimes committed by juveniles.
