For much of the first half of their game the Raiders of Benton Academy led Humphreys Academy. However, a five-point second quarter gave the Rebels the lead they would never relinquish as they won 48-38.
Benton trailed by just one point at halftime and kept pace with Humphreys, for the most part, scoring 15 points while giving up 18.
The fourth quarter saw the Rebels defense shut down Benton’s offense just as it did in the first half, allowing the Raiders just six points. It would be just enough for Humphreys to head back home with a 10-point victory.
Bo Dickerson led the Raiders from the field with seven points while Chase Ward had six.
