The city school district was a hot topic during the political forum sponsored by Alderman Aubry Brent Jr. this week.
About 25 citizens attended the town hall meeting Wednesday evening, and most of them voiced concern and frustration with the state of local education.
Brent, alderman for ward 4, sponsored the forum to discuss city affairs and to ensure citizens that he would take their concerns back to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
