The Yazoo City Municipal School District welcomed its new superintendent this week.
Shannon Sudbury enthusiastically mingled with the crowd during the open school board meeting Monday night.
Approaching the audience for the first time, Sudbury said he is reminded of the novel, A Tale of Two Cities.
“It was the best of times, and it was the worst of times,” Sudbury said. “But what tale will Yazoo have to tell when it is all said and done? With your help, I will do outstanding things in this district.”
