Let your light shine and you might win 100 bucks

By JASON PATTERSON
Editor & Publisher

Yazoo City residents have a reputation for getting creative with Christmas displays, and the Triangle Cultural Center wants to encourage that tradition to continue.
One city resident will be awarded $100 for the best residential decorations through the “Let Your Light Shine” contest.
“The idea is to show off your Christmas spirit in lights,” said Triangle Director K.K. Hill, creator of the contest that he plans to make an annual event.
To enter a residence in the contest call 746-2273. The judging will be held on Dec. 18. The winner will be announced in the following edition of The Yazoo Herald.
