Moving garbage pickup to once a week rather than twice as usual was back on the agenda at the recent city board meeting.
Many citizens contacted Ward 4 Alderman Aubry Brent Jr. about the new system. He sparked the discussion at the recent Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting this week.
“The public needs clarification as to why we have gone to one-day pick up,” Brent said.
