The Yazoo Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Vice Regent Priscilla Harper presented a program on Rosalie to Iklana Chapter NSDAR in Belzoni on Nov. 8.
Harper serves as Hospitality Chairman on the Rosalie Governing Board. Rosalie has been owned by the Mississippi Daughters of the American Revolution since 1938 and is often referred to as “Our Lady on the Bluff.” Her program consisted of a beautiful Power Point presentation of each room in Rosalie along with a history and description of the items in those rooms.
The meeting was held in the home of Mrs. Rose Marie Turner. Mrs. Kate Halbrook, Iklana Chapter regent, presided. JoAnne Collins, Yazoo Chapter regent, was a special guest.
