After two large snakes were killed on a kudzu-infested piece of property, one alderman said it’s time to get the ball rolling with cleaning it up.
Danny Neely, city code enforcement officer, asked the city council Monday for permission to advertise to demolish a house at 120 Battle St.
Ward 1 Alderman Charles “Mickey” O’Reilly said two snakes were killed in front of the property last week. He said each snake was about five to seven feet long and about as big as his arm.
