BOBBIE NORRIS

Bobbie June Norris died November 19, 2011 at Lifecare of Longmont, Colorado, following a lengthy illness.
Visitation is today from 10-11 a.m. with graveside services at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Norris born to Robert and Julia Chapman in Yazoo City on September 18, 1929. She was a comunicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Yazoo City.
She is survived by her daughter Therese Marie Norris Cline and son-in-law John Cline of Broomfield, Colorado.

JAMES ALMORE

James 'Lil Man' Almore was born June 12, 1933 in Vaughan to the late Mr. Brooks Almore, Sr. and the late Mrs. Mae Willie Clay Almore.
During his early years, James attended Union Paradise Church and School. James was later baptized at Plainsville AM.E. Church in Vaughan. As a young adult, James traveled to various states to work on tobacco plantations. He eventually moved to Jackson and  worked at Milsaps College until he retired several years ago.
After settling down in Jackson, he met and married the true love of his life, the late Mrs. Rosie B. Mitchell Almo and to this union, one child was born.
James was preceeded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Rosie B.; one sister, Christine; and three brothers, Willie, Roosevelt, and Charlie Ray.
On Friday evening, November 4, 2011, the Angel of Death closed James' eyes, sealed his lips, and placed his physical body in eternal sleep.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Detra Almo; a very special step-daughter, Rosie Honer (Ervin); two devoted step-sons,Robert Mitchell (Barbara) and Frank Chisolm; four sisters, Clara Van Buren Clinton, Md; Rachel Almore Gulfport, Ms; Ruth Ingram Jackson, Ms; Doris Watson (Porter) Bowling Green, Ky. Four brothers, Brooks Almore, Jr. Chicago, Ill; Mcallister Stiff Chicago, Ill; Albert Almore (Carol) New Bern, N.C.; Adam Almore Baltimore, Md. Two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.
