‘Tis the season to be vigilant

By JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

Officers would like the public’s assistance again this year to keep an eye out in their neighborhoods this Christmas season.
Chief Eric Snow said the burglary rate was low last year in comparison to years before. He credits such a low rate to concerned citizens.
“I would like that rate even lower this year,” he said. “Last year, we had great public participation. Citizens were calling in and watching their neighbors’ houses. If we could get that participation again, it would be a big help.”  -------for the rest of the story see The Yazoo Herald printed edition or subscribe to the Digital Edition.----------
