During the 2011 Fall Pilgrimage in Natchez, on Oct. 8 and 13, three National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution of the Yazoo Chapter and guest Caroline Lewis of Madison, niece of chapter member Delaine Stoner, received guests at Rosalie, “Our Lady on the Bluff.”
Rosalie is a National Historic Landmark owned by the MSSDAR. Built in 1820-23, Rosalie is a magnificent example of the Federal Style architecture. The dream home of Peter and Elixa Little, whose fortune stemmed from timber and cotton plantations in Louisiana, was toured by over 14,000 guests in 2011.
Mrs. Stoner and her niece, Caroline, received in the back parlor/music room on Oct. 8 as did Priscilla Harper on Oct. 13.
