Final steps were made this week in preparation of the Willie Morris Parkway.
Although funding has been lined up for several months, necessary paperwork was executed at the Board of Mayor and Aldermen open meeting Monday afternoon.
The board approved the execution of a memorandum of understanding with the Mississippi Development Authority and the Mississippi Department of Transportation for fund assistance.
