Driving through the highways of the Delta, it’s hard to see any trace of the Great Flood of 2011.
But venture off the side roads into the small communities, and it’s a different story.
The sounds of chain saws and hammers echo through the wind. Houses that once were filled with families now stand abandoned. Wooden frames and brick walls are slowly pushing toward the heavens as homes are being rebuilt.
