Local DAR members serve as hostesses at Rosalie during Fall Pilgrimage in Natchez

Yazoo Chapter members of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently served as hostesses at the Rosalie Mansion in Natchez. JoAnne G. Collins, Yazoo Chapter Regent; Sarastelle Sigrest, Yazoo Chapter Chaplin; and Ava Hale, Yazoo Chapter Treasurer served during Fall Pilgrimage on Oct. 4.
Hale was docent for the library of Rosalie. Sigrest was the docent for the front and back parlors, which included the music room. Collins was the docent for the dining room.
Rosalie Mansion is owned and operated by the MSSDAR. It was built in 1838 and had only two owners when it was purchased by the MSSDAR in 1938.
Rosalie is visited by people from all over the world. There were people visiting from many states on Oct. 4 but also from France and Australia.
