Hillcrest Baptist Church to hold first worship service

Special to The Herald

Hillcrest Baptist Church shares the exciting news of its first worship service in its new facilities.
The former church building was completely destroyed during the April 24, 2010 tornado that ripped through Yazoo County.
Since that day, the church has been busy planning, constructing and praying for its new building.
The first services in that building will be held on Nov. 6, beginning at 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
During this time, Hillcrest Baptist Church will also thank St. John’s Methodist Church, located at the corner of Calhoun Avenue and 13th Street, for allowing them to hold services at their church while reconstruction continued.
