A week after being shut out by Greenwood on the road, Yazoo County notched another win in district play with a 29-18 victory over Humphreys County.
With the 11-point victory, the Panthers secured themselves a spot in the MHSAA playoffs beginning in November.
“We’re very excited,” first-year head coach Bernard Euell said. “We’re going to continue to work hard with two games left to play. It helps with our confidence to play well at this time of the year.”
