Trotter removed as cemetery sexton

One alderman walked out of a board meeting after Stacey Trotter was removed as sexton of Glenwood Cemetery.
Ward 1 Alderman Charles “Mickey” O’Reilly left the Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting after a motion was made to place Prentiss Young as temporary sexton.
The condition of the cemetery has drawn numerous complaints in recent weeks.
Free state inmate labor had been pulled from the cemetery over a year ago because Trotter was involved with an investigation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections for inappropriate behavior with prisoners.
