School curfew in full force

Officials remind students, parents and others in the community that the school curfew continues to be enforced this school season. Children are to be in school Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. If you witness any child outside of school during these hours, call the Yazoo City Police Department at 746-1131. Officials stress that truancy will not be tolerated in the Yazoo community. Curfew violations will be issued.
